Food Bank 'Nothing' campaign raises $100K
MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - The New Hampshire Food Bank has raised more than $100,000 through sales of its cans of "Nothing" to help the hungry.
The food bank estimates over 144,000 New Hampshire citizens live in hunger.
Nothing cans were sold for $5 at a number of grocery stores and supermarkets. Donations also were collected online.
The Citizens Bank Foundation matched donations up to $25,000.
