In Bellows Falls...

SPAGHETTI SUPPER: A spaghetti supper will be held at the Moose Club in Bellows Falls on Friday, Jan. 24. The supper is a benefit for the Central Elementary School PTO, which supports numerous programs and activities at the school.

The cost of the meal will be adults $6, children $3, with a maximum cost per family (parents and children) $20. Dinner will be served to those arriving between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.

FRIENDLY MEALS: The Friendly Meals for senior citizens will hold its regular monthly dinner at noon on Friday, Jan. 24, at St. Peter's Church in North Walpole. On the menu will be broccoli and cheddar stuffed chicken breast, wild rice pilaf, chef cut vegetable, and double chocolate mousse for dessert. Friendly Meals are open to senior citizens (60-plus) from all area towns, and are available on a donation basis. Reservations are essential, as seating is limited. Call Donovan at 603-352-2253 by noon on Jan. 23.

A wellness nurse from Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to check blood pressures and answer any health related questions.

In West Brattleboro...

COMMUNITY LUNCH: West Brattleboro Baptist Church will continue its Community Outreach Luncheon Ministry at its 979 Western Ave. location on Sunday, Jan. 26.

The free community luncheon will be held from noon to 2 p.m. The menu will include homemade chili or corn chowder, cornbread, egg salad sandwich and potato chips, dessert and beverage.

In Putney...

CONGREGATE LUNCH: Putney Cares and Senior Solutions will sponsor the Putney Congregate Lunch from noon to 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the Putney Cares Activities Barn, 54 Kimball Hill, in Putney. The menu will include split pea soup with ham, garden confetti salad, multi grain artisan bread and butter, Hawaiian wedding cake, and coffee and tea.
