Four students chosen by Brattleboro Elks as its October Students of the Month
BRATTLEBORO -- The Brattleboro Lodge of Elks has named four students from Brattleboro Union High School as its Students of the Month for October. They are: Hillary Renaud, grade 12; Nina LaMay, grade 10; Daniel Baldwin-Page, grade 9; and Lucas Rawson, grade 10.
Hillary is the daughter of Michael and Shirley Renaud of Vernon. She hopes to move on to college following graduation next spring to study in the field of Civil Engineering. She serves on the Yearbook Committee and holds a part time job. She enjoys, horses, and racecars.
Nina is the daughter of John LaMay. She hopes to continue on to college following her high school years. Her love of providing care of animals drives her desire to work in the field of Veterinary Medicine or Radiology. She belongs to the AWARE group at the school. She enjoys shooting, poetry, and horseback riding.
Daniel is the son of Morey Page and Beth Baldwin of Brattleboro. Daniel hopes to get into a military college following his high school years. He is a member of the Boys & Girls Club of Brattleboro and very much enjoys basketball and baseball.
Lucas is the son of Dennis Rawson and Deirdre Baker of Brattleboro. He has hopes of going to college following his high school years. He is a member of the Boys & Girls Club of Brattleboro and enjoys a wide variety of sports and video games. He is proud of his academic improvements particularly within the last year.
