Free ski, snowboard lessons at Living Memorial Park

Monday January 28, 2013

Living Memorial Park Snow Sports and Mount Snow’s Ski School will offer free ski and snowboard lessons again this year. The lessons will be held at the Park Hill which is maintained and operated by Living Memorial Park Snow Sports, a completely volunteer non-profit organization.

The lessons will be Thursdays, Jan. 31 and Feb 7, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Participants must have their own equipment and a $5 lift ticket is required to ride the T-bar.

Pre-registration is required by 8 p.m. on the Monday prior to that week’s lesson by calling 802-254-3540 (Calls after that time will be registered for the following week and there will be no return calls or confirmation).

You must specify if you are registering for the snowboard or the skiing lesson. Skiers must be at least 7 years old and snowboarders must be at least 9 years old.

Final registration at the hill will require a parent signed release for those under 18 years of age.
