Gas prices still climbing in Vermont


CONCORD, N.H. >> Gas prices are still climbing in northern New England.

The price-tracking website says the price in Vermont is up 2.4 cents per gallon from last week, to $1.95.

The price has gone up 4.6 cents last week in Maine, averaging $1.95 a gallon.

New Hampshire has risen 4.4 cent per gallon, to $1.85 a gallon.

The national average is $1.98, which increased nearly 5 cents per gallon in the last week. The national average has increased 27.4 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 44 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
