Give my regards to ... Saxtons River
SAXTONS RIVER -- Broadway comes to Saxtons River as area performers present a cabaret of show-stopping tunes on Friday at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday at 2 p.m., at Main Street Arts.
The second annual My Favorite Broadway is a fundraiser for MSA theater productions, including MSA’s upcoming March musical "Kiss Me, Kate."
The cabaret features a wide range of local singers and their choice of favorites, including "Castle on a Cloud" from "Les Miserables," "Summertime" from "Porgy and Bess," "All I Ask of You" from "Phantom of the Opera," "Something Wonderful" from "The King and I" and other standards by Leonard Bernstein and Richard Wilber, John Kander and Fred Ebb and Lucy Simon and Marsha Norman.
Suggested donation for the cabaret is $10 for adults and $5 for youth. Tickets will only be available at the door.
Now celebrating its 25th year, Main Street Arts is a non-profit community arts center dedicated to serving the creative needs of the greater community by encouraging creative exploration and expression through a wide range of experiences.
