Grafton Village Quilts to host quilt show and sale

GRAFTON - Grafton Village Quilts to host a quilt show and sale at the Brick Meeting House in Grafton on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 23 and 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p,m, each day. The show and sale will feature several 20th century quilts from Master Quilter Helen McCausland (1913 - 2006) from Apollo, PA. Helen was a graduate from Muskingum College in 1935 with a degree in Home Economics. Not only was she a master quilter but also a master seamstress making all of her family’s clothing, including suits for her husband and two sons. The quilts are being provided by her family, Jim & Sue McCausland of Springfield. Several other 20th century quilts will also be on display for viewing and for sale.
