Grammar school to host summer camps

Friday April 19, 2013

PUTNEY -- The Grammar School is offering a diverse and flexible summer program for children aged 4 to 14 for three one-week segments from July 8 to 26. Activities are taught by professional artists and educators on the school’s 60-acre campus. The three-session summer program is committed to the same standard of excellence that is provided during the regular academic year. Emphasis is on fun, learning, and creativity.

Teachers will offer a range of classes covering topics including wilderness survival, ropes course activities, writing workshops, art classes, blogging, and mountain biking. Campers may choose any combination of course offerings to create a camp experience that matches their interests. Every afternoon there is a supervised open swim time to cool off and enjoy the water with friends.

For more information, contact Tammy White, TGS Summer Program Director, by e-mail at or call The Grammar School at 802-387-5364 ext. 101. Visit the website at to register for camp classes and mountain biking at TGS this summer.
