Gun shots fired in Bellows Falls
BELLOWS FALLS -- The Bellows Falls Police Department arrested a local man Friday night after responding to reports of gun shots being fired during a dispute.
Shadow Smith, 37, was taken into custody at around 11:30 p.m. after the police arrived at a Tuttle Street home where witnesses say a loud argument had been going on.
When police arrived a group of people at the house were involved in a dispute.
Police determined that Smith had fired a gun, and he was arrested and ordered held on $1,000 bail. There were no injuries reported.
The Vermont State Police assisted the BFPD at the scene.
Smith will face three counts of aggravated assault when he appears in Windham Superior Court on Feb. 19.
