Help needed in solving arson case

BRATTLEBORO -- Authorities are asking for the public's help in solving an arson case.

Brattleboro Fire Department officials said a vehicle caught fire at 3:16 a.m. July 15 at 68 Birge St. Investigation showed it "was an act of arson," officials said.

Anyone with information is asked to contract Brattleboro police Detective Eric Johnson at (802)-257-7946 or the Vermont Arson Tip Hotline at 1-800-32-ARSON.

A reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in the incident.
