Herbs for mama and baby workshop

BRATTLEBORO -- From before you even get pregnant, throughout your pregnancy, and throughout your baby's life, there are many herbs that can help both mama and baby be healthy and strong. Whether you are a soon to be mom, an already mom, a hoping to someday be a mom, or just a helpful friend, there is something for you in this class. Herbs for a healthy pregnancy, herbs for breast feeding, herbs for baby development, and herbs for common infant and baby ailments like upset bellies, ear aches, and colds and flu will be discussed. Join us this Mother's Day to learn about and celebrate how these sacred herbs can help you with the most sacred task, being a mom.

The class will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.n. on Sunday, May 12. $10 to $20 suggested donation; all welcome. Registration suggested. Drop-ins welcome if space permits. Contact eqvermont@gmail.com.

This workshop will be held at Equilibrium, 14 Elm St., in downtown Brattleboro, and led by Rebecca Golden, Community Herbalist and Educator. Rebecca is the founder of Earth Angel Herbals, an earth-based wellness, education, and products company. She has been making herbal products and teaching about herbs for over a decade in Vermont.
