Hinsdale girls improve to 1-1
HINSDALE, N.H. >> Jen Matuszewski scored seven minutes into overtime to give the Hinsdale varsity girls soccer team a thrilling 1-0 victory over Pittsfield.
"It was a back and forth game, with both teams controlling portions of each half. Pittsfield is a young, but skilled, team, We did not play our best game, however I am proud of the way we did not give up and found a way to get it done. It was a really warm day and both teams were gassed at the end," stated Hinsdale coach Jay Cudworth.
Skyler LeClair made 11 saves to earn the shutout. Pittsfield goalie Becca Smith, who is a freshman, stopped nine total shots.
The 1-1 Pacers will play at Groveton on Friday at 4 p.m.
