Historic inn set to reopen this summer in Windsor
WINDSOR, VT. >> A historic bed and breakfast in Vermont is set to reopen this summer under new ownership.
The Eagle Times reports Ken Lucci and two private investors this week finalized a contract to purchase the Juniper Hill Inn in Windsor for $390,000. The contract included an agreement to make $600,000 worth of improvements. Renovations that include the installation of a wine bar are already underway.
The 14,000-square-foot inn had been in foreclosure since 2013. Lucci says it will be open for business on June 1.
The 28-room inn, built in 1902, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It's known for having hosted former U.S. presidents, including Woodrow Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt.
