Hit and run reported in Bellows Falls

BELLOWS FALLS — Police are investigating a hit and run after a bicyclist was injured.

On Thursday at 8:20 p.m., the Bellows Falls Police Department responded to the incident. A motor vehicle hit a bicyclist on Rockingham Street in front of PK'S Pub.

The operator of the vehicle that struck the bicyclist did not stop at the scene and was last seen traveling north on Rockingham Street towards the New Arch Bridge. The bicyclist received minor injuries as a result of the collision. The motor vehicle was described by the witnesses as a small black or dark blue newer model coupe with Vermont plates. The front driver's side fender and bumper may have damage from the collision.
