Library hosts Holly Jolly Gingerbread Craft Time

BRATTLEBORO -- The Holly Jolly Gingerbread Craft Time will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Meeting Room at Brooks Memorial Library, 224 Main St. Come make houses out of graham crackers, icing and candy. To make sure there are enough goodies, registration is recommended; contact the Children’s Room at 254-5290, ext. 110. This event is free and donations of nonperishable food items for Project Feed the Thousands are appreciated. Children under 7 must have a responsible person with them.

Holiday program held at Memorial Hall

WILMINGTON -- The Memorial Hall Board invites the community to a holiday musical program on Sunday at 3 p.m., at Memorial Hall. The performance will feature Deerfield Valley vocal soloists and instrumentalists under the direction of Barbara Lipstadt, a women’s singing group directed by Susan Maddern and a flute quartet with Robin Matathias. The audience will be invited to sing familiar carols. Donations are welcome to benefit restoration of Memorial Hall.

Cheshiremen sing holiday barbershop

KEENE, N.H. -- The Holiday Festival of Harmony by the Cheshiremen Chorus will be performed on Saturday, at 7 p.m., in the United Church of Christ, 23 Central Square. The Cheshiremen Chorus is the Keene chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Tickets are $8 in advance for adults, or $10 at the door, and are available from any Cheshireman, at the door, at Toadstool Books, Cheshire Music, Your Kitchen Store and Hannaford in Keene, and at or 877-312-7467. Holiday refreshments follow.
