Introducing Kids to the Magic of Music and Movement

The Brattleboro Music Center is accepting registrations for its popular Movin' Into Music program. Geared toward children ages 1 to 5 and their parents or caregivers, the program offers fun and original music classes that include singing, dancing, playing musical games and using a variety of props. Siblings and drop-ins are welcome, and the program is ongoing, so registrations are accepted at any time.

Main sessions are held Mondays, 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at the Brattleboro Music Center, 38 Walnut St, Brattleboro. The instructor is Kim Wallach, who is K-12 certified in Massachusetts, and currently teaches in Northfield Elementary and Warwick Community School. "Singing and moving to music are great for young children, helping them develop language, pitch, rhythm, movement and social skills, all while having a very good time," said Wallach.
