Jerusalem Peacebuilder Campers to preach at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church on Sunday


BRATTLEBORO -- This Sunday, Aug. 24, high school kids from Jerusalem Peacebuilders will give the sermon at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church’s 10:15 a.m. service. Jerusalem Peacebuilders is a residential peace-camp for Israeli, Palestinian and American teenagers.

The camp, located at Acer Farm in West Brattleboro, brings together teens with the focus of creating a new generation of peace builders in the world. The camp takes place over the course of two weeks and the campers participate in intensive leadership and peace building activities and instruction. The youth also engage in dialogue and discussion sessions about their views and opinions toward peace in the Holy Land.

St. Michael’s Episcopal Church is located at 16 Bradley Ave. in Brattleboro. The church is fully accessible.

Parking for those whose mobility or impaired is available in the church lot entered off Putney Road, just north of Bradley Avenue.
