In the old city you could hear music from many lands, evoking the past and becoming something new. Julian's new suite of songs celebrates this enduring transformation, with styles from Athens, Istanbul, Havana, Fort-de-France and the streets of San Francisco. Anna Patton clarinet, Don Anderson trumpet, Carl Clemens flute, Jon Weeks sax, John Wheeler trombone, Eugene Uman percussion, Wes Brown bass, Ben James drums, Julian Gerstin percussion.
