Kind Bud and Kitty host a holiday sing-a-long

WILMINGTON — The holidays is a time for young and old to come together. This holiday season, Kind Bud and Kitty are hosting 4, Free Community Carol Sing-A-Longs and they invite the community to come join them in singing good old- fashioned Christmas Carols. With many thanks to area businesses, everyone who attends the Christmas Carol Sing-A-Longs will receive their own Carol Book to take home and to keep. On Sunday, Dec. 10 at 3:30 p.m., Kind Bud will host a Community Carol Sing-A-Long at the Historic Memorial Hall in Wilmington. Other Community Carol Sing-A-Longs to be held in the state include: Saturday, Dec.10 in at Seven Stars Art Center in Sharon; Saturday, Dec. 16 at the West Rutland Town Hall; Sunday, Dec.r 17 at the Stowe Town Hall. All shows are at 3:30 p.m. and all are free.

Kind Bud's career in music has spanned over 20 years. For the last 14 years, Bud has been on the jamband scene, touring with his partner Budd, as The Kind Buds. Bud has shared the stage with prominent musicians including Oteil Burbridge. Festivals Kind Bud has been a part of include: The Gathering of the Vibes; Rock N Roll Resort; Bears Picnic; Oregon Country Fair; StangeCreek; Nateva; Woodstock @ Yasgur's Farm and Wormtown. Venues Kind Bud has performed at include: Sweetwater Music Hall and Ashkenaz, both in CA; Iron Horse Music Hall; Fairfield Theatre Company; Daryl's House; Hyatt Regency Chicago (before the Fare Thee Well Shows); Garcia's; BRYAC and many Vermont ski resorts.

Before being a Kind Bud, Bud was part of the duo "Braintree". Under "Braintree" Bud produced 5 CDs. Three CDs were instrumental holiday CDs: Amid the Winter Snow; Wintertidings; Repeat the Sounding Joy. The Point Radio has featured Amid the Winter Snow, in its entirety, for the past 18 years on Christmas Eve.
