An international smash hit, based on Michael Morpurgo’s novel and adapted for the stage by Nick Stafford, "War Horse" takes audiences on an extraordinary journey from the fields of rural Devon to the trenches of World War I France. Filled with stirring music and songs, this powerfully moving and imaginative drama is a show of phenomenal inventiveness. At its heart are astonishing life-sized puppets by South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company, who bring breathing, galloping, charging horses to thrilling life on stage.

"War Horse" is currently celebrating its sixth year on the London stage. The Broadway production of "War Horse" was the winner of six Tony Awards including a Special Tony Award for Handspring Puppet Company.

"War Horse" lasts two hours and 48 minutes with a 15-minute intermission and 10-minute presentation on the production.

"Frankenstein" enjoyed a sell-out run at the National Theatre in 2011, and went on to win the 2012 Olivier Award for Best Actor for Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller.

Oscar-winner Danny Boyle ("Trainspotting," "Slumdog Millionaire") directs a production with Benedict Cumberbatch (BBC’s "Sherlock," "12 Years a Slave," "Hobbit," "Star Trek: Into Darkness," "War Horse," "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy") and Jonny Lee Miller ("Trainspotting," CBS’ "Elementary") alternating roles as Victor Frankenstein and his creation. The Latchis Theatre will broadcast the version with Cumberbatch as the Creature.
