LeClair voted Reformer's Athlete of the Week


BRATTLEBORO >> Hinsdale High's Skyler LeClair, who scored 19 points versus both Monadnock and Concord Christian, earned 15 votes to unanimously win Reformer Athlete of the Week honors for Jan. 17-23.

The four nominees are listed below, however you can vote for another varsity athlete that attends Brattleboro, Bellows Falls, Twin Valley, Leland & Gray or Hinsdale high as long as you explain why you have chosen them.

Eli Lombardi

The junior forward had a double-double (15 points, 14 rebounds) to lead the Brattleboro Union High School varsity boys basketball team to a 59-47 win over Drury on Saturday. He also had a 28-point game versus Woodstock and scored 19 against rival MAU for the 9-7 Colonels.

Jake Lober

The Bellows Falls wrestler went 2-0 during a three-team meet in Bennington. He pinned his Burr and Burton foe in just 12 seconds and then defeated his MAU opponent 5-1.

Justin Hicks

Twin Valley's point guard was "Magical" with 18 points, seven rebounds and six assists during a 55-44 win over Bellows Falls. He also finished with a dozen points, four caroms and 10 dimes to help the Wildcats (11-5) past Poultney 90-53.

Skyler LeClair

Could "the Spitfire" repeat? She scored 21 points for the 10-3 Pacers in a 54-18 rout of Mascenic and then recorded 24 points in a Senior Night victory over Nute.
