Letter: Beware of 'computer experts'

Beware of 'computer experts'

Editor of the Reformer:

This is to alert your readership to the fact that lately there have been many attempts to scam local residents into thinking that their computer has been hacked, or a "firewall has been breached" and the computer needs to be "cleaned" by an "Expert Computer Service." If a box pops up on your screen and you can't get rid of it, don't call the phone number in the box. Just turn off your computer and start it up again. Please don't be taken in by these "helpful" experts.
