Letter: 'Humbled and honored'

'Humbled and honored'

Editor of the Reformer:

I am greatly humbled and highly honored by the planting of two maple trees at the Newfane Town Hall property to recognize my reaching the century mark and my long service to the town of Newfane.

I am at a loss for words to express my feelings, so, to all who are responsible for making this happen, I offer a plain old-fashioned "thank you."

Carlton "Red" Chaffee, Newfane, Nov. 3
