Letter: Putney Family Service says thanks

Editor of the Reformer:

On October 11, Putney Family Services participated in the annual Harvest Festival at the Putney School. Our food concession was very successful thanks to the many generous donations from the community and this year all proceeds will benefit the Putney Community Fuel Fund for those of our neighbors who have need. The beautiful October morning began with volunteers setting up, general prep work and firing up the grill to begin cooking hamburgers and hot dogs for the hungry festival-goers. The day started slow, but the aroma of the burgers and dogs soon drew many our way.

Many thanks to the following businesses and individuals who made this such a success: Cota & Cota, Leader Distribution Systems, Wal-Mart, Annette & Greg Wilson, Kerri Harlow, Dylan Devlin, Linda McCullock, Tom Ehrenberg, Norm Bartlett, Maggie Cassidy and Kate Cleghorn. Thanks to all of you; we had a great day and the event was a phenomenal success!

Patricia Field, Director Putney Family Services, Oct. 19
