Letter: Secret Santa now accepting letters

Secret Santa now accepting letters

Editor of the Reformer:

The Secret Santa program has begun our campaign for this year. Less fortunate children in the area are asked to write letters to Santa. Secret Santas will take those letters and try to fulfill as many of the children's wishes as possible. We then distribute the gifts to the children. Anyone interested in becoming a "Secret Santa" may contact us at Dr. Fagelson's office 802-257-0557.

Some letters will also be placed in boxes at Curves, Vermont Artisans, Sam's and Bakers. These will be put out around Thanksgiving.

We are saddened by the fact that this will be our last year running the Secret Santa program. It has been a rewarding and touching experience for us over the past two decades, but other pressures will prevent us from carrying out the program in the way it deserves. Hopefully some person or persons will come forth to take over and continue it.

Bob Fagelson, Brattleboro, Oct. 11
