Letter: Support for Sibilia

Support for Sibilia

Editor of the Reformer:

I'm writing today in support of re-electing State Representative Laura Sibilia to represent Dover, Readsboro, Searsburg, Somerset, Stamford, Wardsboro and Whitingham in the Vermont House.

In her first two years in office, Laura has significantly increased communications with our towns about legislation and state initiatives important to our valley. Regardless of her position on an issue, she has made informing her constituents about legislation which will impact them her top priority. And true to her word, she has been our local voice, introducing legislation important to our towns, working to solve problems for businesses and individuals and helping empower people in and out of her district to be able to thoughtfully and successfully participate in the legislative process. I have witnessed these abilities first hand serving on boards with her. I also appreciate her execution of clear and concise communication through many forums. She keeps us abreast of current legislation, her contribution and what actions we can take should the situation pertain to such.

Laura works hard and represents us all, regardless of political affiliation, with determination and integrity. Please join me on Nov. 8 in re-electing her to the Vermont House.

Jollene Carrier Mahon, Dover, Sept. 21
