Letter: Vote your conscience
Vote your conscience
Editor of the Reformer:
I found the editorial, extorting people to only vote for the lesser of two evils, to highlight one of the major reasons why our system is dysfunctional ("A bitter pill, but better than poison," June 8). Voting is a serious privilege and not something to be taken lightly. While we all had hoped that Bernie Sanders would be the next president, voting for either Clinton or Trump only perpetuates the current system. If everyone voted his or her conscience and voted for the person who best reflects an individual's values, think of the change that we would see.
