Local residents graduate from Northfield Mt. Hermon


MOUNT HERMON, Mass. -- The following Windham County residents are members of the Class of 2014, graduated from Northfield Mount Hermon during the school's 131st commencement exercises on May 25:

Benjamin Knapp of Guilford, a member of the Cum Laude Society; Maya Sutton-Smith of Brattleboro, a member of the Cum Laude Society and winner of the Award in Arabic; Louise Weed of Putney, a member of the Cum Laude Society and winner of the Mary Ellen Peller Memorial Award and NMH Girls' Varsity Nordic Ski Award; and Robert Wolfe of Putney, winner of the Payne Manager Award).

Northfield Mount Hermon is a coeducational boarding and day school for students in grades 9-12 and a postgraduate year. Founded in 1879, NMH engages the intellect, compassion, and talents of its students, empowering them to act with humanity and purpose. In the 2013-2014 academic year, NMH enrolled 650 students from 31 states and 47 countries.
