Medieval Faire set for Saturday
Fairgoers can also shop for goods in the village market, watch artisan demonstrations including blacksmithing, woodcarving, chain mail creation and more.
Other highlights this year include: Birds of prey from the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum; fencing demonstrations; archery and slingshot ranges; climbing walls;
Fairy House making; face painting; Sir Lancelot's flying horse; pony rides; giant chess; games for younger children at Merlin's Midway; candy-throwing catapult; and a scavenger hunt
Admission to the Faire is free. For children, there is a cost to go on the rides and games, of which there are many. The unlimited all day pass is $20, or if you prefer you can buy 12 tickets for $10 (rides are between two and three tickets).
There will also be a "tavern" with food at an average cost of $8. There is a marketplace of crafts and delicious desserts for sale as well.
