Missing N.H. woman's husband charged in Vermont chase

CHARLESTOWN, N.H. (AP) - Police in Vermont have arrested the estranged husband of a missing New Hampshire woman after they say he went speeding off to a Vermont medical facility.

James Robarge of Rockingham, Vt., is being held on vehicular charges stemming from Tuesday's incident.

Police in Bellows Falls, Vt., received information that Robarge was in a Chevy Blazer headed to the medical center and might become violent. Officers tried unsuccessfully to stop his vehicle. They say he raced into the facility's parking lot, nearly striking pedestrians and coming to rest against a planter. He was caught after a brief chase on foot.

State and local agencies in New Hampshire are still searching for 42-year-old Kelly Robarge, who was last seen on Thursday. She's had no communication with family and friends, and there's concern she has suffered serious injury or death.
