'Missing' Townshend woman found unharmed in Pennsylvania

BRATTLEBORO -- A missing Townshend woman was found in Pennsylvania on Feb. 3.

The Vermont State Police notified the media the day before that 48-year-old Kirsten Palmer had not been seen since Jan. 31.

In a press release issued late Monday night, Detective Sgt. Richard Holden stated he was notified by Pennsylvania State Police that Palmer had been located alive and uninjured. The investigation determined no suspicious activity was involved in her disappearance.

The press release did not state where in Pennsylvania she was found or her reasons for going there.
