Monadnock Speedway holds season opener


BRATTLEBORO -- The winners of Saturday’s season-opening races at Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, N.H., were: Kyle Boniface (Lightning Stocks), Mike Stebbins (Mini Stocks), John Lavoie (Super Stocks), Mike McGoldrick (Young Guns) and Dave Greenslit (Thunder Stocks).

The April 26 racing will begin at 6 p.m. On the card are: Sportsman Modifieds, Super Stocks, Mini Stocks, Lightning Stocks and the Young Guns.

The main grandstands will open at 4 p.m. General admission is: Adults -- 2 for $20 special or $15 for 1; Seniors -- $10; Students 13-18 -- $5; Children 12 and under -- free.

The area drivers that competed at Monadnock Speedway last season include Alyssa Rivera of Bellows Falls; Dana Shepard of Putney; Stuart Wheelden of Guilford; Mike Stebbins of Winchester, N.H.; Adam Manley of Putney; Jim Brow of Brattleboro; Chris Davis of Winchester, N.H.; Hillary Renaud of Vernon; Dick Houle of Brattleboro; Pat Houle of Vernon; Eric Silvernale of Winchester, N.H.; Kyle Boniface of Winchester, N.H.; Josh Ling of Hinsdale, N.H.; Tim Leblanc of Winchester, N.H.; Dylan Morse of Winchester, N.H.; Joe Collins of Winchester, N.H.; Chris Lawrence of Winchester, N.H.; and Dylan Stebbins of Winchester, N.H.
