More visitors, spending forecast for Labor Day in N.H.
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - More visitors - and more spending - are forecast for the Labor Day holiday weekend in New Hampshire.
The Institute for New Hampshire Studies says about 560,000 out-of-state visitors are expected. That's up by 3 percent over last year.
They're expected to spend about $80 million, up by 2 percent over last year.
The Labor Day Weekend is the second busiest holiday weekend of the year in New Hampshire after the 4th of July. Most of the visitors will be from New England, New York state, and eastern Canada.
