Musicians from Marlboro to perform works by Haydn, Berg, and DvOãk


BRATTLEBORO >> The Brattleboro Music Center Chamber Music Series continues April 15 with Musicians from Marlboro playing a selection of music by Haydn, Berg, and Dvořák.

Robin Scott and Itamar Zorman on violin, Samuel Rhodes on viola, Brook Speltz on cello and Cynthia Raim at the piano will play Haydn's String Quartet in C Major, Op. 20, No. 2., Berg's Lyric Suite, and Dvořák's Piano Quintet in A Major, Op.8.

The performance is set for Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Centre Congregational Church, 193 Main St., Brattleboro. The event is sponsored by Lynda and Arthur Copeland, Lucy Gratwick, Malcolm and Marjorie Wright, and Vivace Realty, LLC. Media sponsor is Vermont Public Radio.

This event has been selected by the Vermont Arts Council as a featured event for the Vermont Arts 2016 calendar.

Tickets are $30 Patron and $20 general admission and may be purchased online at or by calling 802-257-4523. Tickets will also be available at the door.

Musicians from Marlboro, the touring extension of the Marlboro (VT) Music Festival, features exceptional young professional musicians together with seasoned artists in varied chamber music programs. Their concerts offer audiences the chance to discover seldom-heard masterworks and enjoy fresh interpretations of chamber music favorites
