NECCA hosts 'Fly Free Day'

Posted

BRATTLEBORO -- Join New England Center for Circus Arts to celebrate the grand opening of the outdoor Flying Trapeze to its new location on Sunday, June 15.

The day begins with a ribbon cutting event at 12:45 p.m., on 10 Town Crier Drive, the future home of the New England Center for Circus Arts.

Following that, NECCA hosts Fly Free Day from 1 to 3 p.m. Take a swing, or two, on the outdoor flying trapeze. All levels of experience are welcome. Kids 7 years and older and adults can fly. Youth under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or need to call ahead to fill out the necessary paperwork. People can also just come and watch and enjoy food and drinks.

The event is free. Free Flying Trapeze Day kicks off NECCA's summer season with fun, excitement and high flying entertainment. This year's event is especially celebratory because of NECCA's move to a new facility specially designed for its classes and activities.
