BRATTLEBORO -- On Tuesday, Feb. 19 from 6 to 7 p.m., the public is invited to sample an aerial class at the New England Center for Circus Arts. As part of the school’s internationally recognized aerial teacher training program, NECCA offers a free class to the community to try out trapeze and aerial fabric.

All abilities are invited and beginners are encouraged. These sample classes are geared towards participants age 7 to adult. Older bodies and first-time aerialists are welcome to come and try it out.

The class is free, and space is limited, so registration is encourageed by calling 802-254-9780. All children under age 18 must either have a parent present to sign a waiver, or download a waiver from the web site and bring it already signed. Recommended attire is sweat pants, tights or yoga pants that cover the back of the knees, a shirt that can be tucked in and a long sleeve shirt that can be added for skin protection when needed. Bare feet are appropriate.
