New auto section debuts today

The Brattleboro Reformer and its sister publications in Southern Vermont and Western Massachusetts have launched a new autos section -- -- a comprehensive marketplace online and in print for anyone in the market for new and used vehicles throughout the region.

Available all-day, every day, online at New England, a print section also will be published every Saturday in the Reformer, Bennington Banner, Berkshire Eagle and North Adams Transcript -- the daily publications that comprise New England Newspapers Inc.

For those readers looking to buy a vehicle or sell one, is a complete automotive resource covering the region. At, one can search for new and used cars, find dealerships and place ads to sell their cars, trucks and RVs. The database allows personalized searches by location and by make, model, price, color, etc.

Consumers will find has vast coverage in the marketplace and so will auto dealers, according to Ed Woods, the regional vice president of Digital First Media and publisher of the New England Newspaper Inc.'s properties in Vermont.

"In the digital space, car dealers will now have a local lead generation source online," Woods said. "In the print space, car dealers will have a larger footprint to pull from."

The new section will contain automotive news and subjects of regional automotive interest from dealers.
