New program at Brattleboro CC
BRATTLEBORO -- Brattleboro Country Club is offering an exciting new junior program designed to expose golf to juniors of all ability levels. These junior clinics, featuring the PGA Sports Academy powered by UnitedHealthcare curriculum, will help youth learn to play golf and have fun in the process. The series will be offered by PGA professionals in a group environment. Clinic options start on June 17 running thru the 2014 summer.
"Thanks to the PGA Sports Academy, our program will teach juniors golf skills using physical movement, games, and fun," said Eric Sandstrum, Brattleboro CC PGA Professional.
"Active play is the way young children learn, and the PGA Sports Academy links fundamental golf motion into play creating lifelong golfers. It’s just plain fun and kids love it," said Thomas Borden, PGA Golf Instruction.
The Lesson Programs will take place throughout the 2014 summer season. Each session will provide equipment and near golf experiences, fitness and nutrition knowledge, and plenty of opportunity for on-and-off course athletics. Golf skills will be the basis for learning, along with sportsmanship and open play.
The program is designed to teach juniors long-term athletic development to produce lifelong golfers. For more information, or to register for a lesson program at Brattleboro CC featuring the PGA Sports Academy, visit brattleborocountryclub.com or call 603-682-4129
