Newfane Heritage Festival now taking vendor applications


NEWFANE >> The Exhibitor Committee for the 46th Annual Newfane Heritage Festival announced that it is accepting applications to exhibit at the event.

According to Chris Petrak, Chairman of the Exhibitor Committee, "Most of the exhibitors return year after year, but each year there are a few openings for new exhibitors. The Committee is always looking for different displays that are high quality and unique."

While the Festival features a variety of venues, its focus is the exhibit and sale of arts, crafts and specialty products. Approaching 100 booths are rented to qualifying entries. The mix of products spansa wide variety, including jewelry, photography, pottery, clothing and handcrafts.

Applications for returning exhibitors as well as those wanting to display for the first time areavailable on the Newfane Heritage Festival website:

The deadline for submission is May 1. The Committee will review all applications and make its selection by the end of May. The 12-feet-square spaces rent for two days.

Thousands of visitors attend the Newfane Heritage Festival every year. For many local people it is a tradition. Others, who come from far, make the Festival a destination during their foliage trips to Vermont.

This year the Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 8 and 9 on the Common in Newfane.
