TAP is a special program at New England Youth Theatre for youth and adults with disabilities -- physical, communicative, cognitive and developmental. It’s a unique program that helps students come out of their shells. It gives them an opportunity to interact with peers, and it lets them be seen in the community, expressing themselves.
The fall semester began one month ago. The directors and students together decided that a fashion show would be just the right venue for these incredible people to shine.
With the styling help of Flatter Me Hair Salon, Theatre Adventure students will dress to the nines -- in their favorite costumes and garb from NEYT’s costume loft. Audience members are encouraged in sport their own fashion finery.
For more information, call 802-257-7024. Advance tickets may be purchased at www.neyt.org. The venue is wheelchair-accessible. This event is sponsored by West Village Meeting House.
