N.H. disabilities council hosts video contest

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The New Hampshire Council on Developmental Disabilities is holding a video contest to highlight its goal of building inclusive communities that welcome people of all abilities.

The council is seeking original, 30-second videos or slideshows based on the topic "Count Me In!" The council says the videos should include positive images that put a fresh spin on the public's view of people with developmental disabilities and what they can do. Submissions by people with disabilities are especially encouraged.

The winner or winning team will receive $500 and the video will be featured in the council's upcoming public awareness campaign.

The contest ends Nov. 1.
