N.H. health advisory board gets enrollment update

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - A group that has been advising New Hampshire state officials on implementing President Barack Obama's health care overhaul law is getting an update on how things are going now that enrollment has begun.

New Hampshire opted not to set up its own online insurance markets under the law, but has partnered with the federal government to manage plans and provide consumer assistance. Much of that consumer assistance is just getting underway, however, because of a delay in getting federal funding.

The Health Exchange Advisory Board, which includes consumers, businesses, insurance officials and others, meets Friday in Concord.
