N.H. Senate president headed to Seattle for forum

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire Senate President Peter Bragdon is heading to Seattle for a meeting with other state Senate presidents.

The Milford Republican will attend the Senate Presidents' Forum that runs from Friday through Sunday. He will meet with his counterparts and discuss issues facing lawmakers around the country, such as whether to expand Medicaid to cover poor adults.

The forum is a non-partisan, non-profit organization and provides travel expenses for attendees.
