No one hurt in small plane crash on Lake Champlain island


GRAND ISLE, VT. >> Authorities say no one was hurt when a small aircraft crashed on a Lake Champlain island.

Grand Isle Sheriff Ray Allen says two people were on board when the personal aircraft crashed at about noon Monday on Savage Island.

He said authorities were notified about an hour later.

It's not clear if the plane was landing or taking off. The names of the people on board were not available.
