Nomad vs. Settler and Beated Rags at Next Stage

Next Stage Arts Project presents two young bands, Nomad vs. Settler, and Beated Rags, at Next Stage, 15 Kimball Hill, Putney, on Friday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. The newly-renovated Next Stage has a great dance floor, the use of which will be strongly encouraged at this event! Tickets are $10 at the door.

Nomad vs. Settler (NvS) came together in the summer of 2014 when Putney School freshman Archer Parks (lead guitar) and BAMS 7th-grader Rei Kimura (vocals, rhythm guitar) began collaborating to see what kind of music they could create. The duo soon added bassist/guitarist Owen James (6th grade, Hilltop Montessori) and most recently, drummer Milou Rigollaud (a sophomore at Four Rivers Charter School), creating undeniable youthful chemistry and magnetism. Beated Rags is a laid back experimental guitar-based rock band. The members are- Oscar Newton, Dharma Ramirez, Jonah Siegel, and Zack James. Information at:
