Open Track Party is Saturday


BRATTLEBORO — On Saturday, Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, N.H. will host the Open Track Party and Heroes of Yester-Year celebration. Fans will be able to go trackside to meet their favorite drivers and see their cars from 5-6 p.m. Racing will begin after the track party and will include all Monadnock Speedway divisions and Vintage Outlaws.

On June 18, Vernon's Pat Houle took over the lead on Lap 7 and held off his Lightning Stock competitors to take the checkered flag in the 20-lapper. Rounding out the top five were Tim Paquette, Dan Starkweather, Kris Kristolaitis and Tim O'Shea. Hinsdale's Tim Leblanc wound up in ninth.

In the Mini Stock feature, Vernon's Solomon Brow battled it out with Julia Raymond for the second position for the majority of the race. In the end, Matt Kimball finished first, Raymond was the runner-up and Brow settled for the bronze.

Chase Curtis (Young Guns), Jason Kozacka (Thunder Stocks), Cole Littlewood (Super Stocks) and Cameron Sontag (Sportsman Modifieds) also earned a win on Saturday night. The current point standings for each divison are shown below.
