Pastor Amico’s sermon will be ‘Child Abuse vs. Salvation’
WEST BRATTLEBORO -- Aug. 24 is the Eleventh Sunday after Pentecost at the First Congregational Church United Church of Christ, 880 Western Ave. in West Brattleboro. Sunday worship is at 10 a.m. Pastor Joseph Amico will share a sermon entitled "Child Abuse vs. Salvation" with scripture from Exodus 1:8-2:10.
Organist, Robert Popple will share a prelude of "Lead Me Unto Thee" by James Southbridge. an offertory piece "How Can I Say Thanks" by Andrae Crouch, and a postlude of "Aria Tranquillo" by Mozart. Congregational hymns this week include "God, Who Stretched the spangled Heavens," "In Egypt Under Pharaoh" and "Be Not Dismayed.
