-- Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Donald Margulies’ comedy of remembrance, "Found a Peanut," is a delightful look back to formative "days of summer." Taking audiences into 1962 Brooklyn, he follows a group of children (played by adult actors) on their last day of summer vacation. Throughout a day of poignant bickering and everlasting discoveries, will they ultimately realize the most important lesson of all? Margulies reveals a deep understanding and empathy for children coming of age. With irony and humor he gently unfolds before the audience’s eyes the carefree innocence of youth as it gives way to the awareness of "things to come."

Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays, June 19 through July 12 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 on Thursdays and $15 on Fridays and Saturdays.

-- Next up is "Now and Then," a new musical-in-progress by Zeke Hecker, who introduces audiences to three midlife New Yorkers whose tangled triangle gives jealousy a surprising shape that leads to an equally surprising conclusion with 18 songs and 16 scenes via Manhattan, Nice and Cancun. Featured in the cast are Michael Duffin, Jessica Gelter and Cindy Ritter. Directed by Hecker and Ken Olsson.

"Now and Then" will be presented Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, July 17-19 and 24-26. Join the cast on Saturday nights for a post-performance open discussion of this new work.

-- New this year, ATP presents "Sitting Round the Piano: A Celebration of Musical Theater" on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, July 31, Aug. 1 and 2, and Aug. 7-9.
