Pedestrian struck, killed in Brattleboro in hit-and-run

BRATTLEBORO -- The Brattleboro Police Department were called to the scene at 7:06 p.m. Friday for a report of a pedestrian who was struck on Union Hill.

It was reported that the vehicle that struck the pedestrian left the scene.

According to police, the pedestrian was treated at the scene and then transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The name of the pedestrian has not yet been released.
