Peter Gould to read from his recent novella 'Marly' at 118 Elliot

BRATTLEBORO >> Local author Peter Gould reads from his new Young Adult novella "Marly" at 6 p.m. on Friday at 118 Elliot.

Written in an exciting new form, it's a story with no description, a theater without a stage, a dialogue with only one speaker's voice recorded. You, the reader, must fill in all the lines left out. Marly's lines. All the best jokes are here. They will be yours, too.

In the end, Marly is a new version of the old, old story: Boy meets girl. Girl reveals her fear of environmental catastrophe. Boy wins girl's heart by paying attention
